Psychotherapy
Psychotherapy ~ talk therapy offers an opportunity for you to clarify your issue, worries, fears in a gentle, supportive environment. You will discover for yourself, with the help of a guide, your therapist, what you wan to change an dhow to go about it. You will be at the helm of your changes, and will move forward at your pace. You may choose to work alone, with a partner or family member or become a member of a group to travel your journey to self-enlightenment.
Various types:
Individual therapy is one on one between the client and the therapist, and my incorporate any or all of the listed techniques.
Couples and family counseling is done with one or more family members, or friends talking about the issues of concern.
Women's groups is a wonderful way to grow, bathed in the glow of other women who will have shared the experiences of being a woman and often many of the challenges that are entailed by being a woman with all the restrictions and expectation. Of course, women are not alone in experiencing restrictions and expectations, but for obvious reasons, I do not offer Men's Group.
Grief work both individually or in Group.
