Gestalt Therapy a technique in which a therapist helps one to examine every part of an experience and how that experience now affects the manner in which we perceive ourselves and our lives. By changing our perspective of an event it changes how we feel.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is a process where one can learn to understand the connections between our thoughts, our feelings, and our behaviors. It is a simple technique in which we learn to "reframe" our thoughts, which in turn changes the way we feel about an issue and the manner in which we react to it. Simply put, by changing the way we think about something, changes the way we feel and act about it. It is a powerful tool that will help our daily interactions with our loved ones and others. Once learned this technique can be used to improve our daily lives and reduce conflicts.
